Day 4. Bundy. 6.10.24

Luke recommended a ride to Sandy Hook. I wanted to ride to the Hummock but Melissa firmly said NO. It's too dangerous mixing with the traffic and no road shoulder. So Sandy Hook it was.  We had a ride full of undulations,  never ending wind, swooping birds and a coffee at McCafe on return. 


We opted to put the aircon on and have quiet time after lunch. It was 29°

This afternoon we went to the beach in Bargara with the family.  We didn't stay long as the wind was cold and relentless. 

Millie had a go at Mark's old surfboard. 


Haylee rode the waves on a boogie board. 
Ruby didn't enjoy the beach today.

After dinner we had chocolate mud cake as it's Haylees birthday in 3 days.
She loved the box of art and craft items we gave her.

A foggy start to the morning.  Melissa and Luke brought the girls over for a swim/play after we had been to Tinaberries for an icecream.  Mark and Millie devoured one of these each while the rest of us had strawberry icecream in a cone. We had dinner on the foreshore from the Bundy Burger Van with our family and Graham and Gail.  Today we drove 72kms unhitched.  The temperature got to 26.6°

A very foggy start to the day. Sunrise  Sunset on the hill where a house will eventually be built. Brayden  Another exhausting day. With lots of our family and Rachel and John's friends arriving from the Goldcoast. Lots of motor bikes, big and small.

Mount Nathan 12.1.24

 Hired a BnB for 2 nights for a family get together. Lincoln and Bodhi have just turned 1 and Rachel's turning 30. Caught up with Melissa and Luke at Glenwood for a coffee stop and then again at Caboolture.  Ollie playing with Ruby. Lincoln and Ruby Snack time Ruby was very popular  Bodhi is running around everywhere.  The pool got lots of use. Bodhi ↕️ Lincoln ↕️ Went for a short walk around the property. It was so hot.
