A foggy start to the morning.  Melissa and Luke brought the girls over for a swim/play after we had been to Tinaberries for an icecream.  Mark and Millie devoured one of these each while the rest of us had strawberry icecream in a cone. We had dinner on the foreshore from the Bundy Burger Van with our family and Graham and Gail.  Today we drove 72kms unhitched.  The temperature got to 26.6°

Spent the day in  Bundy playing with our grand daughters. Easiest 'baby sitting' gig ever. Ended up having dinner with Melissa, Luke and the girls and Luke's parents.  Ruby enjoying her big girl ice cream.  27° again today.

Day 2. Moore Park. 23.8.24

This morning we attended Seth and Oliver's book week parade. Seth went as Darth Vader and Ollie as Miles Morales (Marvels spider man). Then it was off to the park for morning tea with these little treasures and their mumma, Rachel.  Arrived at Moore Park Beach caravan park right on check in time, 12.30. We are crashing Graham and Gail's weekend away. As we had to be in Childers this morning and I have Nana duties in Bundy all day Saturday it was a perfect fit. We travelled 73kms and the weather was a perfect 27°

Having a few days away.  As always Gadget is the first one ready. Drove 51kms to Childers RV stop for the night. Wandered around town, stopping at the war memorial which commemorated the Vietnam war a few days ago. Cane train has been busy carting its wares.  The weather was wonderfully warm, cooling down around 4pm. Top temp was 26.2°c
